If you want cute, flashy, and sane, take a look at miss Trixie! Standing at 12.2hh, this cute pony is the perfect size for a bigger child and suitable as both a lead line pony and a step up pony! Great ground manners, this adorable pony isnt cinchy, leads great, ties, cross ties, picks up hooves, and stand for bathing. She loads and unloads (sometimes needs a little encouragement from behind to step up, but never a hard refusal!) She stalls in a box stall and straight stall or can live out in a mixed herd with no problems. She respects fencing and is an easy keeper.
With the perfect amount of "go" and "woah," you'll be hard pressed to find a more balanced pony. Walk, trot, canter, stop, and back. She can take a joke and is tolerant of a lot-- kids have rode her "side saddle," stood up on her back, waved their arms, sat on her backwards, and more. Shes crosses tarps, brush, logs, rivers, and has rode with dogs.. And doesn't even try to yank your arms out of socket in attempt to eat! I think it is safe to say Trixie is a top notch trail pony! Because she is not half dead with one hoof in the grave, I recommend her for an advanced/confident beginner child at least. However the children that have rode her for me love her and are adamant she is easy to handle and ride and not at all intimidating.
I was told she was previously used as a jumping pony, however I do not have any kids who jump so I am unable to confirm this. I believe she will excel in whatever discipline you wanted to try.. Jumping, barrels, trail, obstacles.... Trixie will be great! Shes not mareish and I have yet to see any sneaky "pony tricks." Offering 1-3 horses at a time, M&M Horse Sales is not a dealer and horses are not quick flips. All horses are extensively trail rode, evaluated, and videoed before being listed for sale in order to give the most accurate details on their abilites and level of training.
Horses can not be held without a nonrefundable down payment. Whether it takes you a hour, a day, or a week to talk to your barn manager, significant other, friend, aunt, grandma, whoever-- the horse is still available and may be sold within this time.
To secure your horse, a 15% non refundable down payment is accepted and will hold your horse for up to two weeks.
$10/Day board will be charged 72 hours after down payment has been made and therein every day until the horse is picked up or delivered. Board must be paid in full before or upon pick up or delivery.
All horses are described to the best of my knowledge and sold as is and all sales are final. A PPE is always welcome at the buyers expense. Prospected Buyers are always welcome to come try out the horses as many times as they want(as long as horse is still available) to assure it is a good match.
Due to privacy reasons, previous owner's information will not be given to Buyers or Prospective Buyers. If requested once the horse is purchased, Buyer's information can be passed on to previous owners(if applicable) so that s/he can contact them at their discretion.
Transportation is the Purchaser's responsiblity. Transportation can be provided by M&M Horse Sales for an additional rate - please contact for details.
